"In the inner life and worship of the congregation stand Word and Sacrament like rocks in the sea.  Like the sea breaking on the rocks, so do the holy forms of the liturgy crash in upon the center of Word and Sacrament.  Like the sea is broken on the rocks, like its rough waters and spray are determined by the rocks, so is liturgical life no arbitrary matter.  The waves of the liturgy concentrically orbit the inner circle of the spiritual life which revolves around the poles of Word and Sacrament.  Word and Sacrament determine the order of salvation, and these determine the order of worship" (Wilhelm Lohe).

Rum Cake

This is a big hit at Lutheran coffee hour.  Don't be surprised when quilting ladies ask for recipe.  Be ready or you'll be sorry.

RUM CAKE

1 cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts
1 18½ oz. pkg. yellow cake mix
1 3¾ oz. pkg. Jell-O Vanilla instant pudding
4 eggs
½ cup cold water
½ cup Wesson oil
½ cup dark or clear rum - I prefer to go slightly over 1/2 cup - my cup runneth over  (80 proof)

Glaze:
¼ pound butter (1 stick)
¼ cup water (use slightly less)
1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup dark or clear rum (80 proof)

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour 10 inch tube or 12 cup Bundt pan. Sprinkle nuts over bottom of pan. Mix all cake ingredients together thoroughly. Pour batter over nuts. Bake 1 hour. Check with toothpick. Cool. Invert on serving plate. Prick top. Drizzle and smooth glaze evenly over top and sides. Allow cake to absorb glaze. Repeat till glaze is used up.

Glaze: Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in water and sugar. Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in rum.

Optional: Decorate with cherries, border of sugar frosting or whipped cream. Serve with seedless green grapes dusted with powdered sugar.

(Dark rum does not look dark. The bottle usually is marked “Dark-Dry”. Or use bottle of clear rum)

I keep cake in the refrigerator. Can be made one or two days ahead of time.

Looking for God

“Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” - Jesus

Even the parents of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, had a hard time finding Him (see Luke 2:40-52).  It seems surprising that they lost track of Jesus, considering that He was their very own, whom they raised, and bathed, and fed, and prayed with.  And now, they had thought that Jesus was walking alongside them.  They search in a frantic fever of worry for three days, searching for him among relatives and friends.  Mary and Joseph are probably going door to door anxiously asking, “Have you seen any sign of Jesus, we have lost him – please help us?”

When we think about our own lives, or the lives of family or friends or neighbors, does this scene sound familiar to us?  Searching – restlessly.  Being consumed with worry – looking for that familiar voice – that recognizable face.

The whole world in one way or another is looking for God – and usually doing so frantically under great pressure.  We go from one place to the next, door to door, searching for that next bit of hope.  That check at the end of the month maybe might really make things right.  That promotion would surely fix my life and make it more secure.  We need to find that next big thing, that we think help us. Some look for God in their own imaginations. Some choose to seek God in the great outdoors – in nature. Some look to find God through their intellect – through philosophical wanderings and speculations.

Yet, we look in the wrong places.  We knock on the wrongs doors.  We put our hope in hopeless things.  We look for spirituality in spiritless endeavors.  Like, Mary and Joseph we run from door to door looking for the Lord – seeking him.  Where is God?  That is the question.  Where is God when I am lost and confused?  Where is God at the death of my brother or sister?  Where is a just and righteous God when there is so much injustice and unrighteousness.  I thought I was ‘found’ but certainly feel ‘lost.’

We all know some of those last words of Jesus “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me…And lo! I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”  But sometimes we forget the very first words that we hear proceeding from the mouth of Jesus as a boy.  Hear this Gospel, these very first words of our Lord, “Why were you looking for me?  Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?”  This is not the baby Jesus in the manger anymore.  This is Jesus as a child, speaking for himself.

After all that looking - that frantic searching by Mary and Joseph going door to door, they find him among the rabbis in the temple.  Among the public preaching and teaching.  He is sitting in the bloody aftermath of that Passover feast where thousands of spotless lambs were sacrificed, roasted on a spit, and eaten with bitter herbs and chalices of wine.  Jesus, near that altar, among the rabbis in the temple, says, “Dear Mother, did you not know that I would be among the things of my Father?”  “Did you not know that I would be with this cup and this bread?  Even as a boy, Jesus knows that his destiny lies in the Passover Feast to take place in Jerusalem.

This Christmas celebration means that we may rest from our searching for God.  We are done looking.  We do not have to forge a way to reach him.  We do not need to construct ladders to get into his heavenly presence.  The great German preacher of the 20th century, Helmut Thielicke was fond of saying that the crib and the cross are of the same wood.  That is, Jesus comes to that manger - into flesh to absorb our sin and to march up that dusty path to Calvary’s cross.  That child who stayed behind in Jerusalem knew that it was his destiny to go there – to stay behind - to suffer and to die – and to be found by his church on that third day, resurrected fresh from the grave, “Peace be with you, look no more, here I am,” as He shows us His wounds.  When we seek God and His gifts, this is where we look – to that wood of the manger and wooden cross.

After three days Jesus is found in the temple, where He has promised to be.  This Christmas means that God has completely descended into His church to be our friend and brother.  He came to suffer and die the death of a sinner in our place, sharing in our flesh, taking on our shame and guilt.  After three days He is risen and found where He has promised to be in the breaking of the bread and overflowing wine – that gushes forth as that new river of life.  We find Him where He has promised to be in the house of His Father, doing the things that His Father has given him to do.

The Christ child preaches here in this place.  By ascending to the right hand of the Father he does the Father’s work here.  “Peace be with you…I baptize you in the name of the Father…Take eat…take drink…I forgive you all your sins.”  He loves being among the things of His Father.  He loves being on that altar.  He loves being found presiding at the font.  He loves praying with us and interceding before His Father’s throne for every request we have here – whether great or small.  And he loves taking those among us at last to that heavenly home where we may find that final rest - that joyful place of singing and praising, and wonderful feasting.

We do not have to look anymore or have any uncertainty about where God is and what He is doing.  Rest from your searching and let the living Christ find you and claim you here.  He says, “Did you not know that I must be here doing everything for you – find me here! - baptizing you – blessing you – teaching you, and sanctifying you in that glory which I myself give you?”

We do not look for God with our legs by running from door to door.  Nor do we find him with our eyes or feelings.  We find him with the sight of faith which however, wobbly and weak it may seem, clings steadily to that strong Christ.  And so we are drawn here to feast on the promise that will never be lost but always found. May the peace of God, which passes all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Luther on The Holy Innocents

Thanks to Pr. Weedon for posting this little gem from Luther's Homily on the feast day of The Holy Innocents, Martyrs (celebrated and remembered today, December 28th).

"If Caesar Augustus of Rome, himself, had wanted to present them with his whole empire, he would not have served them so well as Herod did by his butchery. He tore the little children from their mothers' bosoms, and sent them to heaven, making nothing less than martyrs of them, whose blood is precious in the sight of God! For the parents it was a terrible thing, but it happened for the eventual good of the children. They felt no anguish in their souls. So the Lord took them away at the time of His own advent into the world, as a sweet smelling sacrifice to Himself. Thus much good would yet come from Herod's murdering." (House Postilla 3:260)

My brother and friend, Vicar Sean Daenzer wrote a fine homily for Holy Innocents HERE.
Pastor Cota of Suring, WI has also written an excellent Homily on Holy Innocents HERE.

The Young Jesus Returns to His Temple

The first image we have of our Lord as a young man, is that He is sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions (Luke 2:40-52).  He is not that infant in the manger anymore but one who is growing strong, increasing in wisdom and stature.  As a boy this is the first place we find Jesus, in Jerusalem, the place of his future trial and crucifixion.  He is sitting on the floor at temple listening to his rabbis, likely asking “teacher, what does this mean…please explain this to me.”  I love this because it suggests, at least to me, that our Lord was studying his small catechism, at least the catechism of that time.  He was probably asking teacher, what does this mean?  What does it mean to not have idols?  What does it mean to love God and honor the Sabbath Day.  What does it mean to honor father and mother?  What does this mean?

As He is asking these questions and hearing their answers, the aftermath of the Passover festival is going on.  The blood of those spotless and sacrificed lambs is still draining into the Jerusalem soil surrounding the temple.  The temple altar guild is cleaning and scrubbing the temple floor, emptying the basins and trash.  The Jewish families are departing to their homes after filling their bellies with lamb, bitter herbs, and wine.  Mary and Joseph, thinking that Jesus was walking with them, journey with the other Galilean families back to their small comfortable dwellings.  But Jesus stays behind in that still bloody temple in Jerusalem.

After three days of searching Mary and Joseph find their boy in that same place, speaking with the teachers, listening to them and asking questions.  He is showing understanding and providing answers.  The young catechism student is becoming the chief catechist.  Yet Mary, being the loving mother she is says, “Jesus why have you done this to us…we have been looking for you…worried sick!”  Part of me wants to believe she pulled his ear or gave him a little spank on the bottom.  As blessed and holy as the mother of our Lord is, I don’t think she was above giving our dear Lord a little verbal “butt whoopin.”  “Jesus, ahh, we have been looking for you Jesus, you worried your father and I.  Of course Jesus lovingly replies, "Why were you looking for me?  Did you not know that I must be among the things of my Father?"  Jesus is among that blessed blood and that blessed bread and meal.  He is among preaching and teaching.  Jesus says that this is where He is found.  “Dearest mother and father, you will always find me here in this holy place…by this altar…”  Nevertheless our dear Lord obeys his parents.  He picks himself off the floor and, says goodbye to the teachers, and follows his parents back home to Nazareth.  Jesus, as a young boy, knew that he would be coming back – back to Jerusalem.

What I find especially significant, and what I wish to spend time on is how Jesus responds to His loving Mary and Joseph.  The original text here, says that Jesus submitted himself to them – not just once – but here in the temple and continually.  That is, he was habitually and unfailingly submissive to his parents, without ceasing, his whole life long.  I would like to think that before mother Mary gave her young boy that little chastising among the rabbis, Jesus was asking about this commandment in the temple with His teachers.  “Teacher, how do I honor my mother and father?  What does this mean?”  One of His teachers in one way or another probably responded, “We should fear and love God so that we do not despise or anger our parents and other authorities, but honor them, serve and obey them, love and cherish them.”

There is an important connection here when we see that our young Jesus attends to the things of His Father in the temple, and then submits wholeheartedly to Mary and Joseph at home.  These things may seem like two different events but they are one.  Because Jesus is perfectly obedient and loves His heavenly Father he submits to His parents, obeying them – loving and cherishing them.

We cannot fear, love and trust in God above all things if we do not first obey our parents – loving them and cherishing them.  It is impossible to love and trust God if we are simultaneously despising, disobeying and angering our parents.  For our parents have been set over us as God’s representatives.  They are God’s personal ambassadors and our first heralders of the Gospel.  If we want to be Christians and to please God, we do not have to look any farther than the face of our parents, or grandparents for that matter.  Jesus did not love Mary and Joseph for some attributes they held but rather for that honor that God have lavished upon them – simply by virtue of them being parents.  Martin Luther in his large catechism writes:

“It must therefore be impressed on young people that they revere their parents as God’s representatives, and to remember that, however lowly, poor, feeble, and eccentric they may be, they are still their mother and father, given by God.  They are not to be deprived of their honor because of their ways or failings.  Therefore, we are not to think of their person, whatever they may be, but of the will of God, who has created and ordained it so.”

Today we may echo what Luther has said and say that the majesty of God is hidden in our very simple parents.  That is to say, God carries out his creative work in, with, and through them.  Parents and teachers are holy vessels of that work, creating, instructing, gospeling, and forgiving.  Or as our Lord Himself says, “all authority on heaven and earth has been given to me.”  This earthy authority of the living God is given a mask in the face of our parents.  And in their face we see the holy marks and signs of God.  Tired eyes, and working hands from laboring and providing for children.  Wrinkles on the face bear witness to sleepless nights of prayer and worry for children.

We are called to fear and love God so that we do not despise or anger our parents and other authorities, but honor them, serve and obey them, love and cherish them.  But certainly our love has faltered and that honor that was due them we limited in way that we sought rather to honor ourselves.  Our obedience fell short.  Our rebellious acts were more than a couple.  And our precious parents, who are bright brilliant jewels to our heavenly father, we often failed to cherish in that blissful way that we were invited to.  And that love and forgiveness that our parents or teachers lavished upon us was wholly undeserved.  Luther writes in the catechism:

“God knows well this perversity of the world, and therefore, by means of the commandments, he reminds and impels all people to think of what their parents have done for them.  Then they realize that they have received their bodies and lives from their parents and have been nourished and nurture by their parents when otherwise they would have perished a hundred times in their own filth.”

When we were despising our parents Jesus was loving them.  When we were angering our parents He was honoring them.  When we were rebelling against our parents in our young age He was serving them.  When we were being lazy and disrespectful He was cherishing his parents.

We can never give enough thanks and honor to our teachers and parents.  It is impossible.  From our parents we receive life itself.  And from our spiritual teachers we receive that Word of life that grants us grace upon grace and heavenly peace.

Our parents take us to holy baptism.  In our arms, they carry us to that font where we are dipped three times into that crucifixion rest of God’s only Son.  And we arise out of those baptismal waters and return to those cradling arms of our parents.  They take us home to our beds and tuck us in, and pray for us - over our sleeping eyes, teaching us that prayer “Our Father, who art in heaven.”  When we awake in the night and cry they run to us and find us.  They comfort us and whisper that love of God into our ears.  As infants they sing to us, singing spiritual hymns or even playful songs.

When we are hungry they feed us.  When we need a bathe they bathe us.  When we are sick they minister to us.  They pray for our healing, and wait at our bedside.  With every fever and sore throat.  With every rash and drop of blood – and with every tear they join their child in that suffering – and bear it too.

When an infant needs his or her diapers changed a mother or father, bends, down and gets on their knees.  They wipe dirty bottoms, and clean those parts of us which we cannot clean for ourselves.  And such is the love of God that he stoops down that low, to do that dirty and messy work – bottom washing – that is cleaning and sanctifying all those places where we cannot help ourselves.

Particularly in the ways that we have soiled the relationship with our parents (or even between spouses), he has cleaned that whole mess up.  When we failed to walk beside our parents doing all that they commanded, Jesus walked back to Galilee and submitted himself to Mary and Joseph for us.  What does this mean?  He fulfilled all righteousness, fearing, loving and trusting in God above all things – loving, honoring, serving and obeying his parents for us.  In Jesus we may love and honor our parents by turning from our way and turning toward their counsel and love.  In the ways we failed to obey authority, Jesus willingly stood before the authorities, honoring and obeying them unto death.  Because Jesus obeyed His vow to His Bride the church we may repent and honor our vows by doing the same.

When we are looking to find God and receive His gifts of forgiveness we do not have to search for days on end with no hope.  We do not have to be worried sick about where God is.  We have Christmas every Lord’s Day.  “Did you not know that I am in the house of my Father?”  Do you not know that I am that Passover Feast.  Do you not know that I am that temple doing the Father’s work?  Preaching and teaching – listening and hearing.  The blood which flows from that Jerusalem sacrifice, that spotless Passover Lamb – Jesus Christ – flows out from Jerusalem – as a river sprinkling every corner of the earth.  It washes over every disobedient son and daughter and creates new sons and daughters that share in the likeness of the obedient one.

What does this mean?  It means that Christmas is just the beginning.  The Christ child is found here and now.  With Him, the Father finds you forgiven; truly loving your father and mother - loving son or daughter.  And he finds grandparents loving all those entrusted to their care.  And he finds us all being fruitful, growing in wisdom and stature, and favor with God and man.   May the peace of God, which passes all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.  Amen.

Spiritual Self-Sedating

It is a big mistake to think that being involved in ministry equips you with a more fortified position before God in heaven. The thinking may go that you’ve been lavished with some extraordinary pneumatos that puts you in some elevated spiritual caste. It ought to be known that the warnings and threats against false teachers and the ungodly are directed first and foremost at pastors. As our Lord says, “So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me. When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you shall surely die!’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand” (Ezekiel 33:7-8). Our Lord’s admonitions and warnings are toward ‘watchman’ and ‘overseers,’ that is pastors; those responsible for the souls of those entrusted to him. If anything, it puts you in a more perilous spiritual position. Bonhoeffer writes:

“The greatest difficulty for the pastor stems from his theology. He knows all there is to be known about sin and forgiveness. He knows what the faith is and he talks about it so much that he winds up no longer living in faith but in thinking about faith. He even knows that his nonfaith is the right form of faith: ‘Lord, I believe; help my unbelief’ (Mk. 9:24). Knowledge reveals his daimonism. It drives him further and further into factual unbelief. We can then have no experience of faith. Our only experience is reflection on the faith.”

The greatest mistake is to think that because you are pastor, church worker, or vicar that you have been showered with some unique spiritual grace. The activism of his ‘knowing,’ ‘doing,’ and ‘thinking’ may become the cause of his damnation rooted in that first sin; pride. What is most important is that the watchman, himself receive pastoral care. Confession and absolution for those called into Christ’s office is not optional. Pastors hear confessions, preach, care for and bear in their ears and bodies the burden and weight of sin and its trapping influence and its breeding expounding effects across the congregation. The great error occurs when the overseer considers himself sovereign and self-equipped to meet that spiritual calling in his work, because he knows something about faith and fashions himself a theologian.

The attitude and posture for those called ought to mirror that of our Paul, “This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief” (1 Timothy 1:15). That ‘chief sinner,’ the pastor, must submit to pastoral care knowing and believing in his heart that he needs it more than anyone else. That God has desired to declare forgiveness on his wayfaring creation, sound the trumpet, and raise the dead through the voice of a ‘chief sinner’ should no doubt be both soberly terrifying and comforting, and should above all else drive him toward his own pastor and father confessor in order that he may hear that same Word which grants life to the congregation.

It ought to be clear that a pastor (or any Christian for that matter) cannot provide any glint of spiritual care if he is not receiving it – and receiving it in a very consistent and abundant way. That living out of baptism is rooted in that rhythm of confession and absolution, and more specifically private confession (I have written briefly about Private Confession HERE), where specific sins are brought into the light and a Father confessor absolves those specific sins and preaches Christ’s crucified and Him covering and removing those very specific sins. It is Wilhelm Loehe’s observation that private confession is that precious treasure and most direct expression and embodiment of baptism (today, I believe, we erroneously give that primacy to the Lord’s Supper at the neglect of confession). This way we can keep our sins to ourselves, all self-medicate, and vainly take that gift if we just believe enough that ‘Jesus love me…’ Of course this is never to say that grace is dependent upon the sincerity and act of confession. It rests only in that blood of Christ ‘shed for you’ that’s acts and does what it says.

Nevertheless, being brought into that blessed death and resurrection of Christ does not bring us into some static blissful experience of Easter morning. That crucifixion of that Christian involves a certain death, which is neither a theological principle, nor is it a mere sermon illustration. That putting to death of that old stubborn man – that sinner – involves a public crucifixion where he is stripped naked and exposed with all his secret sins and brought into that terrifying judgment. In that blessed gift of confession and absolution those sins are exorcised at that invitation of Christ acting in that pastor, and judged. That the living God Christ, who speaks complete forgiveness through that pastor, is Himself that sin-bearer that has borne your public shame, embarrassment, death, and hell cannot be believed and grasped by your experience, joy, or any else but only by faith. And in that faith that captivates you, Christ calls you only to look at Himself and His wounds for that assurance you may need.

If that spiritual guardian doesn’t receive it he will cease to hear that Word in a personal and direct way from his own pastor, and will no longer believe in it. He will be dried up like that potsherd and pastoral care degenerates into methodist tendencies that no longer hinges on the effective and preached bodily Word, but rather on those idols of human sentiments, emotions, or ease of superficiality and debonair swagger that protestants so highly prize rather than the historic rites, words, sounds, and blessed modus operandi that Christ so lovingly lavished upon His church.

The self-medicating pastor puts his head into the jaws of that serpent, to be crushed, strangled, and bled dry from that confession and those gifts that he has been sent to give. Private confession should not be that safety net that we flee to only when we commit some ‘serious sin’ – a real biggie. Confessing, hearing, and absolving are the normative activities of the church in Christ and not the for special emergencies. And it cannot be done to the tune of “Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so.” No, we do not believe in a Bible, but in that Christ to whom Moses, the prophets, and the apostles preached and recorded in Holy Scripture. The heavenly Father who speaks does so in more plentiful ways than private reading. He loves to create and speak more directly than what we give Him credit for, if only we had the faith to listen to that Word. He loves speaking through the person of flesh and blood closest to us, and in a particularly brilliant way in that sent pastor who He has made His mouthpiece. In this coming incarnation that joining of God to his creation is so close that Luther remarked that He is “with us in the muck and work of our lives so much that his skin smokes.” God played in that mud and created us and breathed His spirit into man – a bestowal and sharing of self – desiring above all else to rest with us and for us on that final day.

Luther on Dying

“…since everyone must depart, we must turn our eyes to God, to whom the path of death leads and directs us.  Here we find the beginning of the narrow gate and the straight path to life (Mt. 7:14).  All must joyfully venture forth on this path, for though the gate is quite narrow, the path is no long.  Just as an infant is born with peril and pain from the small abode of its mother’s womb into this immense heaven and earth, that is, into this world, so man departs this life through the narrow gate of death.  And although the heavens and the earth in which we dwell at present seem large and wide to us, they are nevertheless much narrower and smaller than the mother’s womb in comparison with the future heaven.  Therefore, the death of the dear saints is called a new birth, and their feast day is known in Latin as natale, that is, the day of their birth.”[1] – Martin Luther

Giving Parents their Honor

“Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?  Then He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them"

After three days[1] of looking, Mary and Joseph find Jesus sitting among the teachers at the temple ‘listening to them’ and ‘asking them questions!’  This is the first scene we have outside of the birth narrative with Jesus as a young man.  If there were ever a text to emphasize the centrality of catechesis (I have written about a “Culture of Catechesis” HERE) in the Christian life this ought to have some attention.  The image of our Lord here is one of sitting among his older teachers, ‘listening’ and ‘asking.’  The incarnate God in Christ assumes a posture of hearing and listening to preaching.  The teacher lets himself be taught.  The catechist is first a catechumen.  Jesus desires to be spoken to, taught, and corrected.  His bearing is that of a catechumen, hearing His Word, continually asking, “Teacher, what does this mean?”  As Hamann observes the ‘creator speaks to the creature through the creature.’

What I like here is that Mary gives Jesus a good chastising for worrying his parents, “Son why have you done this to us.”  This correction may have been accompanied by a look of annoyance by the theotokos; maybe she even grabbed his arm, or pulled his ear in some disciplinary stroke.  The first Words we have out of the Christ are these, “Did you not know that I must be about my Father’s business?”  No doubt, our Lord is speaking about His salvific work in holy obedience to the Father and going to the Jerusalem to be the Passover Lamb – and make atonement – the business of the Father and of the Son.

What is particularly striking is how Christ’s love and obedience to His heavenly Father (first commandment) mirrors that of His earthly parents (fourth commandment).  Our Lord, as the age of twelve, already gains the ‘astonishment’ of the rabbis in temple, but this does not exult him over the discipline of his parents.  He is rather exulted because He lets Himself be disciplined under them.  The young rabbi par excellence, the sinless Son of God, receives a verbal butt whoopin from the holy mother.  What's more, Luke tells us that Jesus made himself obedient/subject/subordinated (Gr. word upotassomenos) to his parents as they, as a family, walked back down to Nazareth.

I do not think it is possible to overemphasize the union here between Christ’s honoring of the Father (commands 1-3) and his honor, love, and obedience for his parents. We often talk about our Lord’s passive righteousness (atonement and suffering death before the Father) but often times relegate his active righteousness to a lesser role.  Yet his crucifixion and holy, perfect, obedient life exist together as one reality.  The first thing we know about this young Jesus is that he loves being a catechumen, hearing and asking questions (what does this mean?), and then also that he subordinates himself under the authority of Mary and Joseph.

The way we often think about obeying parents now is that it is a legal sort of binding or social contract, that by law I must obey my parents, at least until I am 18, and then I am ‘out on my own.’  At 18 it is understood that you a ‘free to do as you like,’ or ‘make your own decisions.’  Of course, this presupposes that your life is your own, that you may ‘do what is best for you’ and ‘follow your heart.’

The fourth command is that we are called to honor father and mother, which however burdensome it may appear to be, holds no expiration date.  What does this mean?  We should fear and love God so that we do not despise or anger our parents and other authorities, but honor them, serve and obey them, love and cherish them.[2]  Luther also calls the fourth commandment the ‘first and greatest’ because it is the first promise that holds a promise, “that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you” (Ex. 20:12).  What do we owe parents?  The large catechism states:

“God knows very well this perverseness of the world; therefore, He admonishes and urges by commandments that everyone consider what his parents have done for him.  Each child will discover that he has from them a body and life.  He has been fed and reared when otherwise he would have perished a hundred times in his own filth.”[3]

That is to say we are called into life by God through our parents.  We neither choose or have any say in the matter, but are called and created.  Parents stand as icons of God’s creative work which suggests therefore that an indissoluble relationship between the honor given God and the honor given to parents.  It is impossible to love God and simultaneously hate or rebel against parents, for it is only through parents that life is given to me.

Luke captures the perfect love of Christ toward his heavenly Father and his parents in a couple brief sentences.  In faith we claim His obedience and righteousness as our own, as we are called to repentance and holy living in the freedom that only Christ’s forgiveness can bring.

Saint Augustine Quote

Our ‘life itself came down to us,’ assumed our death, and ‘made death die’ by the fullness of his life, in thunder calling us back with him to the mystery of his coming.  For he came from a virgin’s womb, where mankind was wed to him, mortal flesh, to end mortality.  Thence ‘he emerged as a bridegroom from his chamber, towering in strength to run his race.’  He ‘did not hold back,’ but called as he ran, in his words, in his deeds, in death, in life, ‘in descending, in ascending,’ calling us to go back with him.  He withdrew from our sight, to make us ‘re-enter our heart’ and find him there.  He took himself off, et here he is.  He would no longer stay with us, yet would not leave us.  He returned to what he never left.  For ‘the world was made by him,’ he was in the world and ‘came to the world to rescue sinners.’  To him my soul testifies, and ‘he heals it whom it offended.’  ‘How long, my fellows, will your hearts by heavy?’  Fallen in life, can you refused to rise up and live?  But where shall you rise if ‘on the heights you have delivered your own heavenly judgments’?  Lower yourself that you may rise and reach God.  For you fell in rising against God.  Tell others to ‘weep in the valley of weeping,’ for that is what you say to them, by the Spirit’s prompting, if your speech is ablaze with love.[1]

The Choir of Christ Lutheran Academy, Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, sings the Advent hymn, O Savior, Rend the Heavens Wide. The arrangement is by Kathryn Peperkorn, the conductor.

Sin's dreadful doom upon us lies:

Grim death looms fierce before our eyes.

O, come, lead us with mighty hand

From exile to our promised land

(stanza 3)

Rhetoric and War

If we have no interest in winning wars we should not enter them. I listened intently as Obama announced the sending out of 30,000 additional troops to Afghanistan. I have no doubt that our President may be one of the most gifted orators to ever take office. However, during war time and a recession, oratory can ring hollow when it is not backed by true resolve and decisive action and leadership. Great speeches however, are remembered for the events which surrounded them. Reagan is not remembered because of his oratory or because of his charismatic personality and charming way with words. He is remembered for his oratory and policy making because he believed in it and what he was saying. He was not making good speeches to tactfully navigate politics or to pacify his base. His oration reflected his action which in turn proceeded from his very being and source.

“We welcome change and openness; for we believe that freedom and security go together, that the advance of human liberty can only strengthen the cause of world peace. There is one sign the Soviets can make that would be unmistakable, that would advance dramatically the cause of freedom and peace. General Secretary Gorbachev, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization, come here to this gate. Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate. Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!”

The strength of personality and true believing-confident leadership can precipitate significant change in the world, not oratory. I am concerned that we lack such leadership today. When I heard Obama’s speech to West Point, I do not hear a man speaking from his base – from an authentic self. I see a highly skilled organizer and speaker – just speaking. I don’t get an impression of an authentic person who speaks from his core – who speaks because he believes. Rather he speaks because he calculates, or more generously because he thinks. I see a politician and negotiator – but above all a speaker. I don’t get the sense of an authentic self, rather a chameleon, adapting to his surrounding.  I hope I am wrong in my analysis here.

Throughout the whole speech to West Point I heard words such as “accelerated deployment” nearly used synonymously with “exit strategy” and “withdrawal.” Not one word of “winning” or “victory” or “destroying the enemy.” If we want to succeed with routing the Taliban and Al-Qaeda from Afghanistan our rhetoric ought to at least match their own rhetoric. They speak quite plainly about disrupting the work in Afghanistan and killing the infidel. Our rhetoric and speech ought to scare them and convince them that we our set our victory more than they are. There is no hope of winning of the enemy by “winning hearts and minds.” They are quite set on their goals, if only we could be set on ours. If the goal is to preserve the reforms and progress in Afghanistan and to defeat the Taliban than we ought to do that.

Truly winning in Afghanistan would mean tearing into the Taliban and Al-Qaeda camps with brutal force and violence. In matters of war, it is most humane to cut out the enemy like a cancer, lest is spread and multiply. It is not humane to continue in a war if our leaders are not set on winning, with definitive objectives. Furthermore, politicians and the American public are not equipped to stomach the wretchedness of war. If politicians and the public were as heavily involved in World War II as they are today in the politicizing of war, we would have had to leave the Pacific Islands and France soon after our entrance. Only military men and woman have taken the vow to destroy all enemies foreign and domestic, not the American public. We all ought to feel lucky and blessed that others take that oath, so that we do not have to.

I am very much baffled by those calling for an immediate withdrawal from Afghanistan. The retributive killings from the reemergence of the Taliban would be completely horrifying. If we made the promise to stand by Afghans and to route out the Taliban and Al-Qaeda we ought to do so. Our country has already forgotten the cost of pulling out of Vietnam and breaking a promise – the Khmer Rouge enacted a genocidal policy that lead to the killings of more than 1.5 million innocents throughout Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. It would profoundly irresponsible to set up innocent Afghans for the same horrifying nightmare, because we all like to fashion ourselves as orators and politicians.

America's Cultural Decline and Advance of the Islamist

A recent "Religion of Peace" gathering in free London

(The following article I wrote in January of 2005)

Currently America’ birthrate hovers at 2.07 births per woman. This is barely above replacement level. We are not doing so badly when we look at European rates. Germany and Austria are at 1.3, Russia and Italy 1.2; Spain 1.1. These are dying and impotent countries. The entire European Union is drunk on socialism; 30 hours work weeks, and retirement pensions. To supplement their lazy impotent men and barren women they have allowed North African and Middle Eastern Muslims to enter in great hoards to repopulate. Currently in the U.K. more Muslims than Christians attend religious services each week.

A recent poll in the United Kingdom revealed that 65% of Muslims within their country wish for the full adoption of Islamic Sharia Law. Sharia is the instrumental law by which Islam seeks to impose its slavery upon the whole of humanity. Sharia Law permits “honor killing” of females for disobeying the Koran as well as public execution for apostasy (very common in mid-east Islamic nations). Sharia Law demands that women be bound in a burka (a black full body gown with a single opening for the eyes). The Koran which sits on my bookshelf is filled with the vilest instructions detailing proper treatment of women:

“Have sex with your women whenever and as often as you like” 2:223

“A woman is worth one half a man” 2:282

“Marry of the women two, three, or four” 4:3

“Men are in charge of women, because Allah made men to be better than women. Refuse to have sex with women from whom you fear rebellion, and scourge them” 4:34

“Allah will reward those in the Garden with beautiful wives with wide, lovely eyes” 52:20

“Your wives and children are your enemies. They are to you only a temptation” 64: 14-15

Muhammad the holy prophet of Islam had over twenty wives and slave girls (the youngest being 13). It is unfortunate that the once great Arab/Persian world chose a dandy to be their prophet. A civilized society surely would have thrown this holy man into prison. Across the Arab world and for the last 1300 years Islam has enslaved women. The liberation of Afghanistan from Taliban rule by the U.S. military and the coalition of the willing have given women and young girls the chance to go to school and finally become masters of their own destiny. Meanwhile, the feminists in our own country have sneered at the president and engaged in countless forms of obstruction to hinder the liberation of women across the broader Middle East. It is true, I believe, that the democratization of Iraq and surrounding areas is the greatest feminist revolution in world history! If only the feminists could realize it! With their dedicated and militant sisterhood they could certainly aid the humanitarian efforts in Iraq and beyond to inspire women to rise up and claim their freedom. With blind sightedness they hate the president more than the demonic religious society which enslaves millions of women across the globe. Women have now voted in the Iraqi parliamentary system three times in stunning numbers (Afghanistan as well). The women came out with threats of violence and bloodshed and claimed their right to freedom, dignity, and equality. And which world leader had the vision to inspire these women to the ballot box to assert their right as free women? Was it Betty Friedan the author of the destructive cult classic, The Feminine Mystique? Did the feminists with their militant haircuts and burning bras rightfully march in Kabul to liberate the women of Afghanistan? Did they march over to Baghdad to liberate the rape rooms of the wicked sons of Saddam? I have never seen a single feminist group march to support the Middle East women’s liberation movements brought on by the evil GOP conspiracy. The world leader who inspired these classical feminist movements in this savage patriarchal world is none other than the woman hating George W. Bush. With grace and nobility he has not hesitated in his mission to ensure self governance, bringing down tyrannical despots in hopes of bringing civil rights and peace (despite the vicious mocking and protestations of the illiberal and freedom hating left).

The leftist might say we should be “tolerant” of Muslim men treating their wives like cattle. After all, it is their “culture.” Who are we to say whose culture is better than another? In the same way when head hunting was still a popular recreational activity in the Polynesians, the same leftist element existing today, would have scorned the oppressive Christians for teaching Christ Crucified and suggesting alternative avenues of activities. Mere tolerance, said G.K. Chesterton, “is the virtue of men who no longer believe in anything.” It is clear the leftists of the day believe in nothing except there own madness and perversities. There are no moral absolutes for the leftist and therefore no confidence in the validity of the western values and democratic institutions which have brought forth generations of genius and upright peoples. The world of right and wrong, up and down, black and white has no bearing.

For the president and our troops to go into Iraq, arrest their blood soaked leader and facilitate security thus insuring self-governance and civil right rubs the leftist the wrong way. The President has said again and again that he considers democracy and freedom a fundamental right of human kind. Any type of “fundamental rights” (besides Marxism) are rejected at any turn by the obstructionist left. They would much rather have us pullout prematurely, while Iraqi forces are still developing, so the country can go into the hands of Al Quieda throat-cutters. They pray nightly for civil war in Iraq, led by Wolf Blitzer beating the drum on CNN. It is true that the New Left are the true fascists of the day, seen clearly by their hatred of democracy in Iraq, their romantic feelings toward Cuba, and their political softness toward the Iranian regime.

It is true that the democratization of Iraq will bring continued disappointments and further bloodshed (mostly by terrorists murdering their fellow co-religionists). Based on a macro-analysis of the conflict and the surrounding vipers which plot against us (Syria, Iran, China, and others) it is our hope that democratization will spread when the people of the surrounding countries see the true fruits of democracy. Iraq is front and center geographically and politically for the broader Middle East region. The Iranian and Syrian governments are openly funding the Iraqi insurgency with human bodies, weapons, and cash to deter our efforts to democratize. These countries have much to lose by the success of the Iraqi experiment (tyranny to democracy is a difficult and ensuing process for a people that have yet to comprehend its liberating value on morality and daily living). For the very reason that Syria and Iran work so hard against Iraqi success (hatred of free press and maintenance of culture of fear and torture) we should fight with zealotry to oppose these things and reign in a culture of free expression (outside of throat-cutting, wife beating, and suicide belts anyways).

Regardless, the fake feminists remain committed to slavery in the Middle East and hatred of the President, while continuing in their obsessions of killing the unborn and attacking the institution of marriage. When the feminists continue to push for infanticide in the west thus drying up the birth rate further, and continued obstruction of the President and military how do they expect to be treated by the growing Islamification of the west? If their wildest fantasies came true: destruction of President Bush, re-editing marriage, abortion on demand, and the mass purge of the Christian right the gates would be wide open for the Islamicists to continue in their quest for terrorizing the civilized world and enslaving women. Do the feminists look forward to the gender neutral, tolerant, cross-dressing, religion of peace? Islam has no joy for these feminist obsessions. Europe is being rapidly taken over by Muslim illegal immigrants with far greater birth rates. European girls born today will in their life times be overtaken by a patriarchal force far less accepting than the Bush/Cheney duo or their hated Jerry Falwell for instance. Islamic Sharia law is rather non-negotiable for abortion rallies or cross-dressing galas. Women have no civil rights whatsoever under this form of law. Singing is forbidden. Those caught in beauty shops can be put to death. They are treated worse than cattle.

Feminists must realign their vision in a globalized world. I recently saw the openly gay, pro-choice liberal democrat Tammy Bruce on CSPAN speaking on her development as a feminist who ran NOW (National Organization for Women) throughout the 1990’s. She described herself as a classical liberal but very much opposed to the leftist agenda of the current day. She voted for George Bush due to her eagerness to see changes brought about for women in the Middle East. She spoke briefly against the leftist assertion that all cultures are “morally equivocal.” This is a philosophical axiom pushed throughout the intelligentsia and university system. It is true that some cultures are simply morally bankrupt. The broader Middle East and Far East regions including African countries, Iran, Syria, China and Russia have had little success with civil right and the free expression of ideas. Notably in regards to women’s rights the vast majority of work to be done is outside the fantastically free United States. There is so much freedom here people do not even know what the heck to do with it! The beauty of classical feminism has lost its entire original glimmer and is dying as a liberating and coherent movement. Feminism should not mean abortion. Nor should it mean attacking and reopening the very definition of the family; the God ordained and natural unit which preserves and cultivates the whole of humanity. Feminism is best predicated upon the Greek-based; Judeo-Christian infused and enlightened culture which cleaves to a faith which pronounces life to be divine and human freedom as the primary impulse of mankind. True feminism also believes that women are beautiful and entirely capable of all pursuits. This should include women in the Middle East. Are they not as gifted, beautiful, and human as American women?

It is not a coincidence that in November 2004 the President won the top 25 states with the highest birth rates (the opponent received those states with the lowest). When these trends continue we will see populations’ growth of primarily red states. Unfortunately for the Kerry-type constituency, their neglect for bringing forth life, their celebration of abortion, and their general spiritual destitute will cause further political upsets. Essentially post modern liberalism is a suicidal ideology rooted in adverse secularism, socialism, and the deracination of the cultural values which have made this country so great. Generally the left has fewer children because they are less concerned with the “eternal” and God’s commandment to bring forth life (Gen 1:28). After all, “if this is all there is” or “if God is dead” as Nietzsche said why concern your self with the pains of child birth and its inconveniences. The leftist also has fewer children because they are embarrassed about the human existence. The Al Gore element rages on and on about overpopulation and how we ruin a pristine natural environment by our very presence. The underlying drive in their psyche is that they are profoundly ashamed of our dominion over earth and our ingenuity. They see the human existence as a mere freak accident of nature with no divine value. The dying birth rates of blue states are a clear testament to the leftist’s hatred of life. Human life is dispensable to the left, shown clearly in their push for abortion, euthanasia, embryonic stem cell research, cloning, harvesting body parts, and countless other horrifying obsessions.

Generally civilizations do not die from invading barbarians but rather from suicide (See "A Study of History" by Arnold J. Toynbee). The leftist lacks what I call “civilizational confidence” and therefore lacks also the will to ensure safe boarders and to crush the enemy when survival depends upon it. Simply put, he lacks the will to live. The naïve peacenik unfortunately is more than an annoying pest. He wishes to openly spread his ideational suicide. He infiltrates the television media, newspapers, clergy, and academia. He actively recruits new death worshipers, demoralizes our troops, meanwhile posing as a morally enlightened being. He is in fact the most immoral creature in the world. To be precise he is a creature quite of another world entirely. For this world has been consumed by war since the dawn of man when Cain rose up against Abel. War is of necessity and survival. War brings us peace. The last fifty years of peace have been entirely due to the Allies spilling of Nazi blood, not to mention the massive liberation of Jewish concentration camps. To deny war and our country’s expertise and glory in winning it is to deny this world and the means of freedom. So this creature denies life itself and mentally lives on another planet. His poison unfortunately, remains fixed on the most powerful and benevolent superpower on planet earth. The pacifist is like a family member (we live in one nation) who curls into a fetal position on the floor freely offering his body up when a murderer bursts through your front door. If he had stayed by your side with his will and determination to live you, yourself, would stand a better chance of survival. Instead the creature has degenerated into a clump of mass waiting on his death and yours. He does not love you or care for you. Most importantly he has abandoned you and any advantage you may have had against the intruder. What’s worse, his betrayal impedes your reaction against the intruder because you spend some degree of time wondering what the feeble dimwit is doing. You lived under the same roof yet he betrayed you and took the side of the enemy in this critical time of need? Such is the sadness, anger, and regret felt by the patriot and nationalist who must deal with a traitor who shares the same sky and sea borders. Teddy Roosevelt, a man of strength and virtue felt the same thing in his own time, “The pacifist is as surely a traitor to his country and to humanity as is the most brutal wrongdoer.” This suicidal maniac speaks in familiar tongues to enlist new recruits into cultural Marxism and revolutionary defeatism.

As a Sunday school teacher and activist he tells the class that Jesus disapproves of war and the President. Loving your enemies to death is the moral high ground he says. After all, that is what Jesus did. However, the teachings of Christ are not so applicable to U.S. foreign policy. If loving your enemies and turning the other cheek was followed as a protocol of foreign policy we surely would have met enslavement and death from the Nazis if we outlasted the Muslim invaders a thousand years earlier. The pacifist who comes in the name of Christianity surely is a nasty conspirator and defamer of biblical text. When the Jews wished to make Jesus their earthly king he refused, knowing perfectly well that ruling over an earthly government was not his call. His spiritual advice applied to matters of earthly survival would have left every Jew in the nation hanging from a cross asking why he had been forsaken. As he says, “My kingdom is not of this world,” (John 18:36b). Jesus was and remains a spiritual savior who offers forgiveness of sins not civil governance. It was the law book and faith of Moses that Jesus followed until death. The lawgiver of Jesus’ faith, Moses, was a warrior of epic proportion. In the desert of Rephidim Moses ordered the military offensive against the Amalekites, who continually terrorized the people of Israel. He sent out his beloved Joshua to lead the Hebrews in battle while he prayed from a hilltop with the rod of God, his brother Aaron and Hur. He prevailed with a strong will, a people of faith and courage, and of course with God’s mighty help.

The pacifist might also enter academia where he preaches from a pulpit which pronounces the United States to be the cause of every terror and misery on earth, including the drunken drug dealing rap scallion living on welfare. It is his wish to convert the student into a new radical of the revolution. By framing America as a bigoted, evil, greedy, and intolerant nation the innocent student questions his middle class upbringing, parents, and faith. Furthermore, the professor systematically uproots the impressionable students comfort with authority, capitalism, the family as a unit, patriarchy, hierarchy, morality, tradition, sexual restraint, loyalty, patriotism, nationalism, heredity, ethnocentrism, and his own blood. With a completely eviscerated identity and defiled confidence in the tenants of western civilization, the students mind is wholly ready to join hands with the “victims” of the west: the druggies, feminists, homosexuals, black militants, the asocial, third world communists, and deviants of every stripe. The student joins willingly because his entire universe is inverted due to the snake professor who hides behind his tenure waiting for his next victim.

The leftist and pacifist element by and large have overtaken the university system because they are most safe there. They are well aware that they are failures in real life notably in the business world and the daily grind of the true blue worker. They never really leave college but remain insulated in student clubs, the college union, and slowly burrow into department bureaucracy until they are on the tax payer dole.

Secretly the leftist and pacifist long for death, and while they wait hack away at a nation’s pillars which upheld the limitless freedoms leading to their deprived state. The truth is that the U.S. constitution was formed entirely for a religious, conservative, and moral people. An illiberal, irreligious, immoral left is incompatible with the fertile and holy soil of the United States of America. The left has craftily and relentlessly infiltrated the highest offices to undermine and hijack the Constitution as opposed to revering and protecting it. The left is a direct threat to our survival as they rip and shred through the constitution, plotting national suicide, with further dreams of castrating the U.S. military and dissolving the Law of the Land, handing over complete sovereignty to the World Court and United Nations. We must be thankful for the U.S. military and police forces for temporarily upholding the status quo against leftist insult and treason, a truly noble vocation.

It has long been noted that there is a direct relationship between religiosity and fertility. With Islam being the fastest growing religion on earth, this faith is out birthing the western world exponentially thanks to the psychology of liberalism and its hatred of life. Somalia’s birthrate is 6.91, Niger 6.83, Afghanistan 6.78, and Yemen 6.75. What these countries share in common is Islam. The best standing argument for allowing the illegal Mexican hoards to crash through our gates every day is their cultural value for high birthrates (3.6 to be exact). This is due largely to their strict adherence to their Catholic faith, conservative principles, fear of God, and their renunciation of the infanticide which plagues our own people. If our nation fails to reacquire our reverence for bringing forth life and its divine value we will face further population poverty which will render us irrelevant as a benevolent superpower in the near future. God bless the married couples who bring forth many children and God bless those who choose to adopt. No achievement on earth is higher. And no office on earth is nobler than that of the mother and father.

The declining birth rate of the west is also largely due to the pervading culture of homosexuality. This “culture” (too high a term – culture derived from the Latin word cultura – meaning “to till soil”) has set forth an agenda which seeks to “emancipate” sexuality from monogamy and marriage. The homosexual engagement in fact has no roots in any providential soil and bears no fruit whatsoever. The entire relationship is based upon sexuality, pleasure, and self indulgence. There are no children to raise, no pains of child birth, no sacrifice to bring forth human life. When the Roman Empire was crumbling homosexuality was especially rampant. It is not by random or oppressive measures that the three major religions in the world condemn homosexuality. Religions developed over thousands of years conclude again and again that homosexuality is bad in both civic and spiritual realms. The only religion which supports and encourages homosexuality is Marxism (worst idea in human history killing over 100 million in the past century). Georg Lukacs, Marxist theorist and deputy of culture under Bela Kun’s regime instituted a radical sex education program in communist Hungarian schools. Children were instructed in free love, homosexuality, the irrelevance of religion and middle class values, and the pointlessness of marriage and monogamy (sounds like a familiar program relative to the United States school system in 2006) . The goal of such an agenda is to destroy the traditional order through making obsolete the nuclear family, which in its essence, is the enemy of Marxism. Marxism, whether known by its human political vessels or not, is working most actively through the gay agenda to bring about its ends. Organized promiscuity, polygamy, and the pleasure principle are the common weapons of the movement.

Sexuality therefore is not for enjoyment within the arrangement of marriage but more for enjoyment as a purely recreational activity (little different from going bowling on a Friday night). Homosexuals on average have multiple times the partners of heterosexuals and have far greater chances for contracting AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. The natural man intuitively knows with certainty that homosexuality is bad for his family, culture, village, and nation. When ever a young person first finds out about the existence of homosexual behavior they are immediately repulsed. This innate survivalist inclination is to be trusted above all things. Although Marxist reeducation camps, sensitivity training racquets and popular culture attempt to legitimize sodomy the natural man will never be swayed so long as he is born of flesh and meditates on his intuitive survival impulses. The stoned leftist who attends gay pride parades and the like only does so after a long systematic Marxist training program initiated in elementary school with its summation in the university system.

This “avant garde” approach to sexuality transmitted to the heterosexual scene as well hence the low birth rates. Gay and straight alike, once “man and wife” or “lovers” are now “partners” (the John Wayneesque leftist code word for sexual deviants). “Man and wife” is hetero-centric you see and therefore terminology fit for bigots. “Partners” is “gender neural” and more casual in terms for sexual liaisons, thus far superior for the leftist mind. Although the homosexual lobby is most fervently pushing this “enlightened” revelation of sex through the media (which by and large is controlled by the purple hand) they are not solely to blame. We look to Freud and his sex obsession masked in psychology, Alfred Kinsey (sexual pervert poster boy for 60’s sex liberation), who studied and viewed child molestations for research and his cult following. We look to feminism, 60’s counterculture and the resulting sexual revolution (if it feels good do it mantra). These are all historical catalysts which have systematically divorced sex from marriage leading to our embarrassing fecundity to give birth to new life. It is true that MTV, the AIDS obsession, Madonna, Internet pornography, and Sex and the City have further caused this separation.  It is also now true that “hooking up” is more common the “dating.” A 2001 survey conducted by Bowling Green State University in Ohio found that of the 55% of local 11th graders who engaged in intercourse, over 60% said they had sex with a “partner” who was no more than a friend. Therefore seeking a sexual outlet in the companionship of peers or “partners” is more common than within the romantic attachment or marriage. From my own experience true dating or the nearly extinct “court ships” are all but extinct or scoffed at where present.

The strength and vitality of this nation is very much due to her spectacular founding by God fearing men and women on the shores of Plymouth Rock. The years which laid the framework for our constitution and form of self-governance were marked by a people with a special regard for rigid asceticism and puritanical living, especially in regards to sex. National strength and sexual restraint are directly related. Our present sex-obsessed popular culture is violently ripping open the cords which for centuries preserved the virtuous young man and young woman. It is true that if the sex obsessed young mind has its perversions coddled by popular culture instead of having it condemned(true for the Puritans up through 1950’s), he will be driven into the deepest caverns of human depravity where all is lost. National strength and sexual deviancy are related in that loosing the cords of the traditional marriage-bound sexual relationship hastens the fallen nature to recklessly pursue the basest of human desires. The pre-marital sexual experience hinders the youthful vigor in its pursuit of education, wealth, power, and spirit. The improper sexual arrangement gives one a false sense of security which drains not only ambition, but bodily fluids (best preserved), and emotional capital. It is these life forces which feed the more disciplined desires of a strengthened body and intellect, and countless other virtuous pursuits, which are more valuable for the national interest. The MTV junkie, the pervert, the porn addict, the gangster drug peddler, the stripper, and the common bamboozled fool are more likely to read Plato, Aristotle, Cicero, Shakespeare, The Federalist Papers, and the United States Constitution if they are not preoccupied with such worthless activities. In the same way, the former addicts by draining their spiritual, emotional, and physical capital are less likely to become soldiers, poets, novelists, and overseers of a virtuous and productive citizenry. Our Nation draws its great might and grace today in large part due to the fumes which still permeate, radiating like incense from our pious revolutionary ancestors who planted and watered the seeds of freedom.

Young men and women must rediscover the historical traditions of dating and their value for relational maintenance and individual health. Sexual purity and revering the divine value of innocence is central to the embryonic family and national strength. Pride in family honor, community, and nation must supercede the selfish impulse to seek out his own whimsical desires. Young men and women must wed in proper order loving each other completely to death. It is of divine law that the man and wife revere the sanctity of life and bring it forth in greater numbers. The family is the most fundamental biological unit which births a mighty and virtuous nation.

Nature of the Enemy: Intimidation and death to you the infidel!

Most liberals in America today will tell you that we were attacked on 9/11 because of our foreign policy. “Neo-cons are all imperialist Zionists!” they will say or “we trample on their holy lands!” or my personal favorite “Cheney ordered the attacks so we could steal oil from the Arabs!” The general leftist consensus is that we somehow deserved the savage attacks. There were certainly two schools of thought which emerged on the ninth of September. One group held “dialogues” or “discussions” to examine the “root causes of terrorism” which they erroneously attribute to poverty and other falsehoods (the 9/11 hijackers were wealthy and educated devout Muslims). This group was the first to run off to a nearby mosque for “sensitivity” classes or to find a new Muslim friend to enhance their spiritual platitude of “multiculturalism.” The graceful President Bush led the charge to glorify the Islamic faith by a world tour of mosques. There was another school of thought, however, which thought none of these things. They were not racing through the sensitivity training mosque circuit bending down on dirty prayer rugs sniffing a dirty Bedouin’s stink feet and dusty sandals. You did not see this group buying up mass amounts of hummus and pita bread for “Islamic awareness” merrymaking. No, this latter school felt pure rage with inclinations more apt to acquire m16’s and a plane ticket to Kabul, Mecca, and Damascus and beyond. This latter school recognized that Al-Quieda and the broader throat-cutting organizations of the Middle East had been appeased for too long. The suicidal maniac throat cutters had to be purged from the earth. It is true that I confided with the latter school.

It was not our foreign policy however which brought forth the deluded souls in head scarves to cut the throats of our pilots and kill our civilians. It was not foreign policy but our cultural “social policy” combined with the cave dwellers general insane hatred. Hundreds of millions of Arabs hate the west because of our immorality: the Hollywood smut which is transported by sewer pipes throughout the Arab world. My point is that the unknowing leftist Hollywood elite would be the first in line to have their throats ritualistically cut. The perverts that propagate our degenerate cultural mores view the born again Christian as more of a threat than Al-Quieda. It is ironic that little do they know that they directly incite the Muslim Arab to hatred of the west. And quite ironic that it is the Christian right for the most part which is eradicating their true enemy thus preserving their existence (the elitist left). By and large it was the Christian right who also stormed the beaches of Normandy, advancing on the cousins of the Islamic radical (Nazis). Meanwhile the Hollywood left portrays the suicide bomber as the idealist (see Munich by Spielberg? Or Syriana by George Clooney?) and the U.S. military as the oppressors. The Hollywood and greater media monopolies work the gain of those who would revel in killing them painfully. The pornography, the degenerate music, the hooker clothing styles for 15 years old girls are all products of the social libertine. The Arab Al-Quieda father fears the day his daughter comes home looking like a Hollywood slut. He fears for his son who listens to rap music, wears pants down to his crotch, and wants an ear ring. Yet we want to ask this: What is worse, pornography or tying up a Jew or American soldier with hands behind his back and slowly cutting open his neck with a rusty knife (if you’ve never seen the countless beheading of Jews and Americans by the rats of the 7th century I suggest you wake up to the new threat of the current and future age – you’ll never forget it!)?

The Islamic-fascist cuts with no mercy while the Jewish boy screams with pain. The scream soon turns to a blood gurgling wheeze from his open neck. The head is bent back still wheezing, with stomach on the ground and finally the last remnant of flesh is sawed off. Muhammad does the cutting with his own head covered in a black hood. He does not have the fortitude to show his face. It is my great hope that deep down in his black heart he knows his own depravity and seeks to hide his hideousness or at least color coordinate between his inner and outer. After the victorious act, Muhammad stands up in front of the camera with one hand holding the hair and blood-dripping head and with the other hand reads his holy Koran, “Strongest among men in enmity to the Believers wilt though find the Jews and Pagans (us!). Then fight and slay the pagan wherever you find them. And seize them, beleaguer them and lie in wait for them, in every stratagem of war,” (Koran - Sura 9:85). All nations must be fought until they embrace Islam.

I watch the news daily and am confounded by the horrors of this world. During a news flash I can usually make an educated guess about the participants in these horrors: Muslims killing fellow Iraqis, Muslims detonating their bodies into bits of flesh killing Jews in Palestine, Muslims versus Kashmir, Muslims killing Christians throughout Africa, Muslims versus Buddhists in Thailand, Muslims versus Russians in Caucasus or the mass murder of school children last year (remember!), Muslims killing hippie backpackers in Bali, Muslims killing Christians in Indonesia, where Muslims are given the choice of conversion or death. Currently 300,000 Sudanese have been slaughtered by Islamic militants or “Janjaweeds.” The “religion of peace” (Bush’s term) is raiding Christian villages, raping and killing children in Sudan by the thousands. While it is true that not all Muslims are terrorists it is most certainly true that almost all terrorist attacks are orchestrated and conducted by Muslims. Constantly referring to Timothy McVeigh is a favorite rebuttal by the Islamic extremist apologetic American left. As an avowed agnostic he was a neo-Nazi with suspected connections to Islamic terrorism. The uniformity between Nazism and Islamic radicalism will be later noted. Why is it though that this trend of Islamic aggression in every corner of the globe is given so little attention? Why is it that we treat these daily horrors as isolated incidents? Why is it that the media does not expose the realities of who is consistently involved in these atrocities? Let us not forget the French riots last fall primarily by young immigrant Muslim thugs. A Frenchman, in his 70’s was beaten to death by the kind Muslim “youths” (as they were called). An elderly woman in a wheelchair was set on fire and killed after getting off a bus by Muslim “youths.” It is true that the media will always give peaceful Islam a pass. God forbid these participants in the world stage were Christians! They would certainly be publicly hanged in the court of the New World Order United Nations.

Are the puppeteers of the New World Order using Islam to destroy their most burdensome foe: Judeo-Christian societies which are most strident and protective of individualism and political autonomy? Is Islam the sole primal force capable of causing strong civilizations to doubt their long held values, shrivel in fear, and offer themselves up for dissemination? Are the agents of the New Order winning this war?

It is a sad fact that most Europeans, some Americans, certainly our politicians, and the media are intimidated by these radical elements and are bowing down to Mecca. In 2004 the courageous Dutch filmmaker Theo Van Gogh (descendent of the famous post-impressionist) made a film entitled “Submission” exposing the abuse of Muslim women by Muslim men in Europe. An immigrant Moroccan Muslim shot Van Gogh in the stomach after the release of the film in the middle of the day on an Amsterdam street. On-lookers watched as the Muslim cut open Van Gogh’s neck (still living) like an animal. He left a note stabbed into his chest threatening death to anyone who insults Islam. The cartoons of Muhammad (Islamic prophet) three months ago sparked massive protests throughout Europe and the Middle East warning that those who insult Islam will be slaughtered. It is true that a number of Christian clerics during this madness were butchered as well.

Islamification: the summation of the 1000 Year Reich

The last time we saw such an ugly and terrifying brand of fanaticism was under Nazi rule. Yet what is the difference? Both Islam and Nazism are essentially a militant religious fanaticism seeking world domination, subjugating, converting, and enslaving by any means necessary. If America did not support the state of Israel, the Muslims of the world would bring about another holocaust. Although I doubt they would prefer the efficient methodology by which the Jews were killed in the 1000 year Reich. Judging by the footage of Americans being burned, beaten and dragged down a dusty Iraqi road by smiling and singing Iraqis the greater Islamic world might certainly treat their hated Jews more ceremoniously. Radical Islam and present Neo Nazis are united in their hatred for the United States. Our liberal-economies and freedoms are repugnant to them. It is also true that the Nazis of the third Reich shared in this hatred for the United States. We were a racially diluted crop and an eventual military target for world domination. Some people tend to forget that Hitler had declared war on the United States in the winter of 1941. If he somehow could view the current events against Jews and Americans he would certainly be delighted. The attacks on 9/11 would surely have made him ecstatic. My reading of Albert Speer’s memoirs of his moments with Hitler illuminates this point quite well (Speer was official armaments minister):

"I recall how he (Hitler) would have films shown in the Reich Chancellery about London burning, about the sea of fire over Warsaw, about exploding convoys, and the kind of ravenous joy that would then seize him every time. But I never saw him so beside himself as when, in a delirium, he pictured New York going down in flames. He described how the skyscrapers would be transformed into gigantic burning torches, how they would collapse in confusion, how the bursting city’s reflection would stand against the dark sky.”

Islam today is actively seeking out a finale to Hitler’s most ravenous meditations and dreams. It is true that Islamism and fascism have a long 80 year history of intimate collaboration and admiration. Based on their homogeneity of backward values and fanatical bent they share hatred for democracy, liberalism (traditional), capitalism, and of course their most hated peoples: Americans and Jews.

Nazism and Islamism are religious, utopian, and totalitarian in nature and were formed in reaction to similar phenomenon at the same time. The brand of radical Islam we see today developed after the dissolution of the Muslim Ottoman Empire during the First World War. In hopes of restoring a new Muslim empire (and ultimate world domination) The Muslim Brotherhood (or Al Ikhwas Al Muslimun) was formed in 1928. This organization is spread worldwide today and is the progenitor and financier of countless smaller terrorist organizations. Nazism was also formed in reaction to the consequences of the war and the Versailles Treaty. Like the fascist Muslim Brotherhood the Nazis sought out a return to prior Germanic strength and extending their territory and power. When Hitler came to power in 1933 Arabs throughout the world celebrated his victory, aware of his politics and hatred toward Jews. Both organizations (The Muslim Brotherhood and Nazism) preached racial purity and their legitimate right to rule above other nations by any means necessary, terrorism, means of suicide and so forth. The founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hassan Al-Banna, was a great admirer of the “Fuehrer” as well as Mussolini.

Another Islamic power, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin El-Husseini was an honored guest for Hitler and a close confidant. Husseini toured occupied Europe with the Nazi inner circle and became closer friends with Heinrich Himmler who shared his violent anti-Semitism. Husseini learned much about mass murder and terrorism and was inspired to actively seek out Saudi Arabian Wahhabi fanatics to convert into killers of Jews – this continues today.

During the 1936-39 Arab revolts against the British, Nazi intelligence sent vast sums of money and agents to achieve their ends. The Muslim Brotherhood was a valued ally of Rommel’s Afrikakorps against the British, especially in the summer of 1942. After the war Egypt and the greater Muslim Brotherhood welcomed Nazi war criminals by the hundreds for asylum.

One of the most aspiring and fanatical recruits of Hassan’s Muslim Brotherhood is Ayman Al-Zawahiri. Zawahiri is currently Bin Ladin’s right hand man. He is known as the most significant ideologue of Al-Quieda and puts forth a vast array of preposterous pronouncements about international Jewish conspiracies involving freemasons and global finance as well as the glorious mission to kill infidels (you). Jewish conspiracies were an obsession throughout Hitler’s life, found throughout his 800 page rant we know as Mein Kampf. These obsessions overwhelmed any sense of rational and brought him to complete madness (although he was quite mad from the start) in his latter years. The Islamic world’s most revered ideologue (Zawahiri) writes in his Koran commentary on the goals of Islam:

"Islam is a revolutionary doctrine and system that overturns governments. It seeks to overturn the whole universal social order…and establish its structure anew…Islam seeks the world. It is not satisfied by a piece of land but demands the whole universe…Islamic jihad is at the same time offensive and defensive. The Islamic party does not hesitate to utilize the means of war to implement its goal.”

It is clear, however, that Islam cannot engage in the means of war to implement its goals. If our trenches were faced to theirs our power would certainly overwhelm them. Instead of engaging in the more virtuous ways of war, the Islamicist inflicts terror on his own people to break the will of the fighters and bearers of human rights and dignity. It is also true that the Islamic radical is a horrible warrior. By my own conversations with Army Rangers and Special Forces I am told the throat cutters are usually high on heroin and its various varieties or quite inebriated. Zawahiri is well aware that his holy warriors are stoned, drunk, and ignorant animals entirely incapable of standing up and fighting against their foe. Inflicting terror against innocent civilians (both Arab and infidel alike) is the most fitting tactic for these filthy drunks. Zawahiri has engineered the 9/11 attacks, the bombing of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, the USS Cole, and many others in the last 15 years, or since he gained access to the Bin Ladin funding. It is clear that Hitler and Goebbles would applaud the Muslim Brotherhood with bravado, its various functions, and the states which ensure its safety.

It is politically correct to assert that Islam is essentially a “religion of peace.” World leaders further explain that Islamic terrorists are wholly unorthodox is their belief that religion supports suicide bombing and the reward of heaven to come. The unfortunate reality is that the Koran as a text inherently will always breed suicide bombers, throat cutters, and misery. Wherever the text remains on this earth we will have the former traditions of the Muslim. The prophet Muhammad promises 72 virgins for any martyr who dies (or kills) for Allah. This is the surest path to heaven for the Muslim. The word “Islam” does not denote peace of any kind. The word, in fact, signifies “submission” (which includes believers and non-believers alike) or more literally “I hear and obey.” The very name of the religion suggests little leeway for exegetical debate thus causing a fanaticism entirely unequivocal to the most outrageous form of biblical fundamentalism. While Christianity has undergone the Reformation, Counter Reformation, and the “age of the enlightenment” the Islamic cultures have seen none of these revelations or anything remotely comparable. Islam remains trapped in the dark ages of the 7th century. Islam insists upon a theocratic state, ruled by religious law, and cruel punishments long since abandoned by the Judeo-Christian cultures.

If it were not for the Crusades and the Reconquest of western Europe, which your stoned college professor will tell you was evil imperialism, we may have been bowing down to Mecca on this very day. Your sister and mother might be waiting fearfully in some hut surrounded by a burka for an abusive husband. Thankfully our church and political leaders recognized the threat posed by Islam to our political, cultural and religious heritage. Forcing the invading Muslims out was a good thing for the next 1000 years.

Currently the Muslims are pushing their way back into Western Europe, most illegally, waiting until they have the critical mass necessary to stamp the crescent into the Spanish, French, and Italian flags. They will most certainly destroy the beautiful gothic Spanish cathedrals in Spain which grace the sky. The historical massive Buddhist statues destroyed by the new Taliban controlled Afghanistan thirty years ago highlight this Islamic impulse. Islam’s current “reverse crusade” into Europe is met with no defense due to the degenerative state of the European mind. Muslims leech of the socialist system put in place, living on the fringes of society (self-inflicted), selling drugs, and refusing to assimilate in the Spanish, French, Italian, and German societies they lie in wait to conquer. Yet they do not conquer by the sword on horseback like their nobler Ottoman Turk predecessors. They conquer by default due to the leftist and suicidal European elitism which loathes any remnant of nationalism (a spirit which both devastated yet preserved the continent for centuries). The Europeans will be crushed due to their complete lack of national confidence and failing political and economic system (not to mention their dying birthrates). It is a sort of revolutionary defeatism.

The intelligentsia and your feeble looking Marxist history teacher will be quick to tell you that your own country, like any other Islamic-based state is imperialist in nature. As patriots and nationalists we will agree wholeheartedly but will explicate for the dim-witted shyster the significant difference between America and Islam’s approach at extending influence. The western influences which birthed America were rooted in the renaissance and reformation which gave us religious yet secular distinctiveness. The writers of the United States Constitution and other important documents were great thinkers steeped in Greco-Roman civilization. It is these characteristics which gave the west and America the foundation for the freest society in history. We have long since ceased to “Christianize” the world but find it is best to export human freedom to the darkest ends of the earth. Instead we speak of “democratizing the world” to promote the freest expression of all ideas. If we have learned any lesson from the 20th century it is certainly that fascism and communism (two sides of the same coin) offer only misery and death. Generally speaking democracies do not put their citizens in death camps or off to gulags.

Islam on the other hand has nothing of value to export except a slave religion and the oil which funds their tyrannical elite. Islam has and will always be imperialist in nature (but strictly of a violent religious nature). The culture of Islam has produced little of value in the last 1300 years of its existence. It enslaved a once prosperous Persian empire and returned men to the dust spiritually. The primary innovations of Islamic culture include a few minor architectural achievements (although they mostly stole from Christian influences), the airplane hijacking, the suicide bomber, and one person told me an Arab (do not know religious affiliation) came up with the number zero.

Their religious culture stifles human expression. Radical and large segments of what might be called “moderate Islam” are incapable of singing, dancing, and laughing based on the slavery of their religion. They are incapable of producing a Beethoven or a Mozart. They are incapable of a Martin Luther or of producing a poet as moving as Emily Dickinson. Do you know any Islamic comedians? Bin Ladin, Zawahiri, and Al-Quieda members are completely void of a sense of humor. Lacking a sense of humor is directly tied to extremism of any type. The natural condition is to laugh and live in an environment which promotes it. When laughing is discouraged and entirely abandoned it is inevitable that mental faculties will not stay morally and rationally intact.

Many in the west are hoping that an Islamic reformation is on the way. I am pessimistic that such a development is possible. With the Christian reformation there was something to return to with eagerness and great comfort; which was the Gospel. In the middle ages the true meaning of the Gospel had been withheld by the authorities by not allowing a translated and circulated Bible. Those thirsting for the faith could return to a Gospel which offered forgiveness, peace, and the promise of salvation dependent solely on the work of Christ. People could return to a true God and true Man which came down to earth to be a carpenter but more importantly to preach, forgive, serve and wash the dusty feet of his disciples. This Man and God without sin humiliated himself unto death to take up the sins of the world. No such God exists for the Muslim. He is afraid of his God and his only assurance rests on what he does for Allah. Killing the infidel and Jew are the logical course for anyone following the Koran if they wish to be most certain of salvation and sex with young virgin girls in the afterlife. Therefore there is little to “reform” or return to (besides murder and pedophilia). Their God is not bending down to wash his or her feet and ensure them that salvation has already been won. The Muslim is left hanging on his cross with an uncertainty which rattles his soul to the point of suicide and murder. Wherever the Muslim looks in his Koran all he will find is law, law, and more law (similar to what exists in the Old Testament of the Bible). There is no Gospel and saving grace which awaits the Muslim as he looks to Allah. It is true that wherever the Koran exists on this earth there will also remain the Jew/American-hater suicidal maniac.

Since waiting patiently for an Islamic reformation is impossible due to the singular nature of their god in the sole authoritative text, we must eliminate the on-going terrorism with extreme ruthlessness and vigilance. Furthermore all mosques in the U.S. must be wiretapped and closely monitored. The “war on terror” unfortunately is a war with the acting out of the very precepts of the Islamic religion. Terror is a commandment of God and the non-believer is not to be reconciled to the Muslim outside of conversion or death. The western world is completely incompatible with Al-Quieda and the various terrorist organizations spanning from Russia, throughout Europe, the Middle East, Canada, and certain cells within our own country. The old war strategies of deterrence and containment no longer apply in the landscape of 21st century warfare. Rogue states have the capability to work in conjunction with a single terrorist to detonate a dirty bomb or chemical weapon in our cities. We must not sit back waiting like a battered child for his alcoholic father to come home and beat him into submission. When the drunk comes in the child says “No, please, please don’t hit me!” like a scared piglet. This is how we have responded as a nation prior to the current Commander in Chief (G.W.), quite like a child. Negotiation is out of the question. The drunken beast must be preemptively destroyed before his attack with every limb torn from his body, and beaten down into the dust from which he came. He must be dead or too embarrassed to ever stand up again. Islamic radicals must fear us with every fiber of their being. Currently Muhammad and Omar hiding in their caves laugh at the Arabic newspaper they receive showing the uproar over the abuse at Abu Graib. The most extreme point of cruelty shown to the plotting terrorist is his comrade with some pink panties on his head. They laugh at our weakness to punish and our sensitivity to the press. If the terrorist knows that he will end up in a cell in Guantanamo Bay with free meals, a prayer rug, and a Koran delivered to him in plastic gloves by the U.S. military they have little to fear. They laugh at us, our military, and government! We have the most sophisticated weaponry the world has ever seen, certainly the men and women to carry out the task, but not the political will to do what needs to be done! Muhammad and Omar only see weakness in the way we fight, by sending our manned hummers down dusty roads waiting to be shot at by some masked Al-Quieda cave urchin. If this is a war of attrition we will surely lose in embarrassment and damaged morale as the measly fight continues for years to come.

Muhammad and Omar when they are found must be hung from streetlights and buildings in their own village (preferably nearest to their parent’s homes - This was Eisenhower's tactic during the final stages of war in 1945 when routing out the remaining nazi "wehrwolfs").   Family and friends must see how their religious culture ends and the refusal of the world to be egged on or intimidated by their hatred and terror. They will be discouraged when they see the aspiring young terrorist who used to recite the Protocols of the Elders of Zion at the local mosque hanging from a rope with open eyes and tongue bulging out of his skull. The child who sees the hanging hideous body will see that the west is a  foe not worth fighting. With their experience of respecting and fearing a god of wrath they will naturally assume a passive posture to a nation which destroys its enemies with resoluteness and for the world to see. It is the most humane way to to win a war; to do so quickly and decisively.

The current U.S. policy of war making has degenerated into a strategy of weakness, extreme moderation, and hypersensitivity. Although some areas of the world might appreciate these methods, the Islamic world is not deterred by them. The Islamic world is emboldened by our lack of will. Searching for each individual terrorist is insanity and pointless due to a culture which will always cultivate suicide bombers and fanatics at a faster rate than we can hunt them down. The culture needs to be terrorized and forced into surrender. Extremism must be met by extremism and not moderation. It is true that the most humane way to fight a war is to kill the enemy in great numbers as quickly and decisively as possible. The village must experience the penalty for raising suicide bombers, lest they continue in their practice of teaching hatred toward Jews and Americans. They already hate us and therefore Americans have nothing to lose by taking a stronger approach. Palestinians and thousands of others in Islamic cultures danced on roof tops the day of 9/11. They have plenty of time to dance around in head scarves dressed as factory workers although most do little or no work during their lives. They are funded by western countries who believe money will appease the throat cutter. Instead of working, the Palestinian family teaches their children the glories of Martyrdom and how to wear a suicide belt. They will best respect us when they find we are not malleable to terrorism and intimidation. We will “win their hearts and minds” when we show our brute strength in war, not our political weakness. The western world wants peace and to live free of the fear of waiting for the savage enemy to strike.

The appeasement of Islamic terrorism against civilized nations has gone on too long for true Americans. The embarrassing hostage taking of American hostages in Tehran (1979), in 1983 the bombing of the U.S. embassy (120 dead) and the bombing of the US Marine corps base (241 dead). The same year Islamic jihad bombed the U.S. embassy in Kuwait, the first world trade center bombing against the World Trade Center. Islamic terrorists continued by bombing U.S. embassies in Nairobi, Kenya, Dar-es-Salem, and Tanzania. The U.S.S. Cole destroyer was bombed taking the lives of many sailors. Our “tolerance” for the Islamic holy warriors of the earth seemed to proceed showing no signs of letting up. The final blow came on our 9/11. What horrors these animals are to the human race! They have been waging war on the United States for the last 30 years! A war was declared in response to international terrorism by the President of the United States. It is an exciting time to be living. Once again we can stand tall with pride knowing that we are defending our principles of liberty and freedom from fear. We have reclaimed our revolutionary heritage. The animals are being plucked from their caves. Bombs are dropping on their homes and hideouts. An all volunteer force is ridding the planet of Al-Quieda, the embarrassment of civilized people.

The United States military will continue in its quasi-war skirmish until a more momentous event inspires us to terrify the village as well as the leadership in Tehran, Damascus, and the vipers which lie in wait. When this day comes our enemies will be swept away, as well as their industrial centers. The leadership of Iran is currently plotting to create a super Shia-based Islamic empire by overthrowing Iraqi democracy (its neighbor to the south) and thus creating a new Islamic infused Persian empire. For nearly 30 years Iran has been pursuing a Nuclear weapons program to threaten civilized nations and destroy their hated Jews. The President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, is a fierce anti-Semite and denies the right for Israel to exist and with nuclear weapons will blackmail the world. Furthermore, he denies the holocaust and the deaths of 6 million Jews. He is an Islamic mystic and speaks of visions from Allah and “auras” which surround him when he speaks of the goals of the faith. He is determined to produce nuclear weapons despite United Nations sanctions, forbidding Iran to do so. Iran currently, is blatantly rejecting UN treatises and “statements.” The UN, being a corrupt cesspool of greedy and elitist socialist degenerates, will do nothing to enforce its own laws. It is my hope that this failure on such an important world safety concern will expose its absurd state and very existence.

When Iran’s threats to Israel or the west continue, it will be the United States, without the help of the UN which will vanquish the Iranian regime and it’s cracked out Nazi leader. Another impetus will be the growing impatience with the Iraqi insurgency. A massive bombing campaign throughout the Sunni triangle is the only way to end the current crisis. Leaflets and propaganda should be dropped prior to the strike with surrounding military checkpoints to reign in known terrorists on the way out.

The west must and eventually will devastate Islamic terrorism and the culture which propagates it. Despite all of America’s social ills, the United States Military is the enduring force of freedom and is stronger than ever before. America’s will to survive is strong overall. We will surely not roll over to the threats of third world suicidal scum. After setting the slaves free and liberating concentration camps from Nazi control it is in perfect order that we will liberate the mind of the hateful adherent to Islam

Meanwhile, Americans must walk with straight backs and sure feet. We will laugh, sing, and enjoy the great artistry of western civilization. We will instill virtue, order, and discipline in the young. We will explain to students that evil forces triumph when the good sit back and watch disaster unfold on the nightly news. The Star Spangled Banner will play at ball games and church bells will ring throughout the land. We have no desire to wake up to “Allah Akbar” chanted from rooftops.

It is true that the leftists and sexual deviants will not confront the enemies of the nation. They are completely consumed with ideology, death, timidity, and their own sexuality. The damage caused by these social, political, and sexual degenerates has not been marginal. However, it is not reversible. The generation of my grandfather would have put the deviants of the day in mental hospitals. The sedition act of 1917 must be brought back to keep at bay domestic entities rooting for the enemy. Those who continually undermine the nation and its undertakings will be placed in work camps or positions better fit for seditious citizens. A nation cannot operate with such blatant treason within.

We will respect our military personnel and their sacrifices to maintain an unparalleled society of greatness. We will support the inevitable mission ahead to eradicate Islamo-fascism and the depraved souls which plot against all we have worked and died for. Civilians on the other side will and must die to break the will of the enemy. We will not wait for the enemy to undergo theological evolution because none is coming. The noble U.S. military will continue to preserve America’s families as well as the pacifist, the poet, and the nasty leftist who longs for the slavery of Islam.
